About Us

Medina is an all-in-one entertainment powerhouse. Whether you need a night out or an unforgettable event, we’ve got you covered. Our massive venue features event rooms, concert stages, a full-service restaurant and bar, bowling alleys, and an on-site hotel.

Medina offers three private event spaces, accommodating guests for weddings, reunions, luncheons and much more. We also offer off-site catering to any location! Robert’s Craft Kitchen & Bar is known for its delicious food and friendly service.

Guests can enjoy our 12-lane bowling center, complete with a full-service pro shop. We offer bowling leagues each night of the week, cosmic bowling on weekends and kids birthday party packages. There is also an adjoining game room with all the latest games!

For weddings, family reunions, or if you just don’t feel like driving home, the Medina Inn is just next door. Bridal suites, two-room suites, double queen, and single king rooms are available year-round.

Our History

Bob Raskob, along with his brothers Joe, Les & Clif Raskob, built Medina Entertainment Center in September 1956. They wanted a place to go dancing and have fun in the Medina area, which was primarily a farming community at the time. Medina Entertainment Center started out as a dance hall and then added a bowling center and restaurant.

Tragically, in 1973, the building was destroyed by a fire, and took the lives of Bob Raskob’s daughter, Kathy, and Kathy’s good friend, Lori. Many still recall the terrible day and mention the smoke that was seen from miles away.

Medina was totally rebuilt about six months after the accident and continues to celebrate over 65 years in the entertainment, food, and hospitality industries.

One of Medina’s goals has been to provide the community with unlimited styles of exceptional dance music, as well as the best in regional and national entertainment. The list of stars that have performed at Medina is endless! Musicians including Guy Lombardo, Chubby Checker, Johnny Cash, Pat Benatar and Alice Cooper have graced Medina’s stage.

Memorable performances include Willie Nelson, who signed autographs until 2 a.m. and Garth Brooks! Bret Michaels, Slash and Buck Cherry have also performed live, along with recurring performances from the Little River Band, Blackhawk and The Outlaws.
